The district's cafeteria system allows parents to put money into their children's cafeteria accounts online.
If you need help setting up an account, please use this reference guide. Please note, you will need your child's
student ID number to create an account, not your child's library/lunch number.

Parents who would like the convenience of ordering snacks for an

New
Federal Government Requirements Causing School Lunch Prices
to Increase
Due to new federal government requirements,
Brunswick (Brittonkill) Central School District will raise its
cost of school lunches this year to $2.25 for all students. The
price of breakfast will remain at $1.00. All families qualifying
for free or reduced price lunches will not be effected. The
district apologizes for any inconvenience this price increase
may create. However, the federal government is requiring all
school districts across the country that participate in the
National School Lunch Program and charge less than $2.46 for
lunches to slowly increase their prices, as part of the Healthy,
Hunger-Free Kids Act.
Cafeteria Charges Policy Reminder
Parents are reminded that if your
student owes more than three lunch charges, those charges must be paid before
the student can receive a full lunch. Students can only receive a sandwich, fruit
and milk for lunch until the charges are paid. We apologize for any inconvenience
this may cause but it is necessary to keep the Food Service program a self-funded
program. For more information
please see the district policy or
contact Ms. Wright.
Thank you.
Did you know your children may be eligible for free or 25¢ meals at Tamarac schools?
We encourage all parents to examine the federal income guidelines listed below
to see if their children qualify for the completely confidential Free and
Reduced Price Lunch Program.
If you're concerned about your children's privacy and worry their classmates may find out they're receiving discounted meals,
the program is set up so no one will know your child is receiving these discounts. By using the established swipe card food purchase system many students use, no prices will be shown when your child purchases a meal.
The Free and Reduced Price Lunch Program not only helps
participating families but all families in the district as
Tamarac schools receive additional governmental money which
keeps lunch prices as low as possible for all students.
