What is FACS?
- FACS stands for Family and Consumer Sciences, it was formerly
known as Home Economics.
- Students take FACS in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade for approximately
9 weeks..
- FACS is a State mandated curriculum developed to teach students the life skills
necessary to become productive members of society.
