The
Select Choir recorded a piece for WMHT's annual production
of "Music for the Holidays". You can watch them on
WMHT (Channel 11) at the following times:

Recorder Karate

Recorder Orders
Every student in grades 3-6 needs to
have a recorder for music class. Forms will be given
to all third grade students
on their first music class.
All
forms are due by Tuesday, September 28, 2011.

Select Choir
Auditions
Starting
the second week of classes, Mr. Siegenthaler will
be holding auditions for the Tamarac Elementary Select Choir.
Any student in grades 3-5 can audition. Students
will be asked to sing "Happy Birthday" as well as repeat
some short patterns. Students will be judged based on
their headvoice, tone, volume, intonation (are they
in-tune?), and range.
