Modified Basketball Team Donates Gifts to Family in Need
The Tamarac 8th grade girls’ modified basketball team helped create a happy holiday for a community family in need this year by providing presents through an Adopt-A-Family program. Team members Maeve Doin, Kayla Doody, Jillian Galvin, Camille Gardner, Zoe Gliosco, Madison Gragnano, Lauren Kazunas, Lauren Lockrow, Caitlyn Roden, Gursimran Sahota, Gabrielle Tarbox, Grace Warrington and Magnolia Waters were set up with a family in need, shopped for gifts and wrapped them before their first home game. “Not only did they brighten the holiday season for a family right here in the Tamarac community, but they showed how much team spirit and solidarity they have, even off the court,” said teacher and coach Allison Maloy.
Great work!
