There was plenty of excitement in the air, and a few tears on students' cheeks, as Tamarac Middle School and Elementary School let out students for the final day of the school year on Wednesday, June 23.

As students left the Middle School and Elementary School buildings for the last time for the 2009-10 school year, they stopped to hug teachers and teaching assistants before heading to the buses lined up outside.

Students chatted with friends one last time and thanked teachers along the way. For some students, their emotions got the best of them as they sobbed while teachers and teaching assistants consoled them with comforting words about seeing them again next school year.
