Total Possible Daily Points = 9

Students have the opportunity to earn a total of 9 points each day during PE class.  The total points for each day are then added at the end of each quarter to calculate a letter grade of N, S, or O.  The requirements for each grade are as  follows:

N (needs improvement) = Less than 60% of total possible points

S (satisfactory) = 60% - 94% of total possible points

O (outstanding) = 95% or greater of total possible points

Example: 25 classes in 1st quarter @ 9 points per day = 225 total possible points. 60% of total would be 135 points.  This student's PE grade would be an S.  135 points is the least amount of points needed to receive an S.

Students who are not prepared for class will automatically lose 5 out of 9 points for that day, even if they change into sneakers provided by the PE teacher(s).
