While we at Kolomenskoe, we participated in a seventeenth-century wedding. All the members of the wedding party dressed in traditional costumes and recreated the wedding ceremony exactly as it would have been done two centuries ago. There was music and dancing, and food was served at the end, Russian bliny (pancakes).
One evening we attended a performance of the Moscow circus. There are two circuses in Moscow, the Old circus on Tsvetnoi Bulvar and the New circus near Moscow University. We saw a performance of the new circus. The acts were amazing, but the clowns were the best part of the show.
