The mission of the Tamarac Business Education Department is to promote competencies in:   management, personal law, consumerism,  marketing, communications, public relations, computer applications, web design and  professional character and citizenship. 

Students are encouraged to exemplify those personal characteristics necessary to be successful in the world of work today, such as:  reliability, self-motivation, conscientiousness, time management, optimism, trustworthiness, and loyalty.
